Let's get together and discuss topics that surround the design and product fields. Chicago already has a greatUX book club, so the HCD&T book club hopes to supplement designers, researchers, product-focused roles and marketers (anyone is welcomed) with books on topics such asbehavioral economics, anthropology, psychology, etc. All these fields study how people behave. Understanding behavior is also a key part of many of our roles. So let's get academic and discuss how learnings from these broader fields could be applied to our work.
The plan is to have a meet up about every six to eight weeks so that we can dive into books that are a little more in-depth.
