Hike at Arcadia Park

This event is with the Rhode Island Atheist Society. We will meet at Breakheart Pond and hike around it. Get to route 165 in Rhode Island, then go north on Frosty Hollow Road (dirt road, small church on the corner), then turn right at the intersection with the sign. After that there is a fork in the road, go left. There is a parking lot at the south end of the pond next to the waterfall.

It is hunting season and everyone would be required to wear fluorescent orange per state law:

I won't be going if it's wet out.

Darn, we were just going to RSVP as two people attending and were looking forward to it. Then I saw the orange fluorescent clothing requirements and decided that we really don't want to go out and buy a bunch of orange clothing.

My husband doesn't like the idea of hiking during hunting season. I think a noisy group of people wearing bright orange should be fine.

Yay, we found orange vests in Job Lot for $4 or so. Living in Wakefield, it was nice not to have to get up to Dick's. Thanks for the advice- I probably should have read the DEM requirements before commenting.
