Talk Abstract

In this talk we will show how the Clang Static Analyzer and the Ericsson developed open source CodeChecker (https://github.com/ericsson/codechecker) tools can be used to find fatal C/C++ bugs without running your program. We will compare the advantages of the symbolic execution technique of Clang SA with the advantages of other tools, such as Cppcheck, or CppLint. You will learn how to implement simple checkers yourself!
