“Stress! First there was the stress of the recession, now there is the stress of catching up with the upturn. How are we businesses supposed to stay sane in what often seems like a pressure cooker environment?
In this Seminar, Mervyn Foster will introduce us to the concept of stress, its benefits as well as its problems, and how it can arise in the workplace and at home. Mervyn will give us some practical solutions based on his decades of experience in the helping others deal in stress rich environment in the military, the police, and currently in business and personal life.
Anna Jeoffroy-Salmon will introduce a practical set of tools in a mini-workshop in her part of the talk. Anna is currently working with businesses, addressing conflicts and stressful situations, as well as developing a program to help with bereavement. She also runs CPD courses on a variety of related topics and trains other practitioners in fields ranging from reflexology, Bach flower remedies and of course, managing stress.
On the surface, Chris Thomas looks like a relaxed business owner, but underneath lies a seething pressure cooker, heated by his work! Chris will take us on his whirlwind search for more solutions to managing stress and present three tools that have helped keep him sane.
