Babylon.JS and FBX-> glTF translator
Details
Hi 3D Lovers,
We are thrilled to launch our first 2016 meetup. This time we will have two very interesting subjects:
Brendon Smith (http://seacloud9.org/) a front-end engineer with over 8+ years experience who likes to spend his time creating interactive experiments and generative art.
Will talk about his work with Babylon.js - an open-source 3D gaming framework using WebGL, Web Audio and other APIs. In his presentation, Brendon will give an overview of Babylon.js, how to get started, and then show us some of his work using this framework.
FBX -> glTF
Cyrille Fauvel (https://www.linkedin.com/in/cyrillefauvel?authType=NAME_SEARCH&authToken=m1Bt&locale=en_US&trk=tyah&trkInfo=clickedVertical%3Amynetwork%2CclickedEntityId%3A6944299%2CauthType%3ANAME_SEARCH%2Cidx%3A1-1-1%2CtarId%3A1453837856465%2Ctas%3Acyril) will present a short overview of the glTF format – a specification for the efficient transmission and loading of 3D scenes and models by applications – followed by a more detailed discussion and demonstration of the FBX to glTF converter that he has recently created.
Join us to learn a bit more on this exciting 3D world and enjoy some time with food and beverages !
