Lessons with Jim Electric Cowboy

*no cover -- free lessons

*no partner or dance experience needed

The class lasts about an hour, starting with the basic steps,

then progressing on to more challenging moves with variations.

Stay after class and practice what you've learned.

It is a good idea to wear comfortable leather soled shoes.

Tennis shoes and flip flops make it more difficult to do the steps.

Support the venue:

In exchange for free cover and free lessons please purchase

beverages and don't forget to tip the bartender.

I too am going to withdraw my rsvp for tonight. The parking lot in the complex is a mess and my sons car is parked behind mine, right behind the garage and i can't get his car open.

I am at my daughter's in the country near Little Elm. My car is iced shut. She lives on an iced over gravel road. If there is a lady out there with 4 wheel drive that needs a dance partner tonight I will give you directions to come rescue me.

Due to the weather, me and Helen are going to cancel tonight. Instead, we'll go dancing at White Horse Saloon. There won't be any lessons there, but it's close to where we live.

Jim rotates the lessons on Friday nights. This week will be Progressive Double Two Step. Over the course of just over a month he rotates through so you get Progressive, Waltz, Two Step, Three Step, and East Coast Swing. He always starts the night with basics and then gradually adds patterns so it gets more complicated.
