What are Essential Oils?
Essential Oils are plant extracts, taken from seeds, flowers, leaves, bark, stems, roots, and other parts of plants. Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils are most often extracted via a low-heat steam distillation. It may require several hundred or thousand pounds of plant material to extract one pound of pure essential oil, which is the true essence of the plant. Essential oils are volatile liquids (not always oily) gifted with natural fragrance (aromatic) and healing properties (medicinal value).
