Distance from Delhi to Tirthan - 500 kms one way. We might land up doing arround 1200 kms in total

Accomodation: Forest Rest House (FRH) at Sai Ropa Tourist Centre

Site seeing: this valley is part of the Great Himalayan National park. There are 2 waterfalls nearby (trek ), Jalori pass, Selosar lake 4 kms trek (optional) This park is also famous for a variety of birds and some wildlife

Weather:- during the day it is around 23/24 degrees and at night it drops to arround 13/14 degrees.

Departure from Delhi by road - early morning 4.30 a.m. to beat the traffic and heat - its a 12 hrs. journey. if we start early we can be at Tirthan by 5/ 6 p.m. in the evening.

Route: Delhi -Amballa - chandigarh - roopnagar - kiratpur - bilaspur - mandi - pandoh - Aut - Larji - Gushaini - Tirthan (30 kms. right from Aut to the valley)

Aut is just before kullu; before Bhuntar airport in Himachal.

since this is peak season we need to book the accomodation and transport at the earliest.
