Towards building the ideal marketing machine for a SaaS business
From SEO through blogging to optimized landing pages, inbound marketing has emerged as a valuable set of best practices and tools that help B2B’s "fill their funnel" through its top by making it easy to find and reach them online. Real-time Inbound marketing enables marketers to automatically adapt their message and engage with top funnel online prospects in real-time, when it's most relevant.
Yet in B2B sales cycle, where prospects may be at any given moment in different phases of the buying process (e.g. Education, Analysis, Selection), inbound lead acquisition is just the first step. It must be followed closely with appropriate engagement techniques, such as drip marketing, nurturing campaigns, scoring, etc. designed to move leads towards a sales-ready state.
It follows that an ideal marketing machine is one that invests in both top- and mid-funnel tactics in order to maximize the ROI on every dollar spent to generate demand, qualify prospects and close deals. During this meetup session, a variety of cases will be presented, and top and mid-funnel tools and tactics used to increase overall marketing productivity shall be discussed and demonstrated
The session will be co-delivered by Idan Carmeli of ServiceWise and Mike Telem of Insightera.
Having spent 10 years in various marketing and sales-support roles in enterprise software organizations, in 2010 Idan Carmeli has crossed the fence to the services side and is now the marketing automation director for ServiceWise (http://service-wise.com), a local consultancy for Salesforce.com and Marketo.com in Israel. Idan helps B2B organizations of various sizes implement modern B2B marketing strategies and tactics.
Mike Telem is the Business Development Manager of Insightera, a provider of a real-time inbound marketing platform focused on accelerating B2B customer acquisition. Mike will share some of his experiences and best practices with various B2B companies that leverage inbound marketing.
