Gil GivatiUnfortunately,
the Second part of the meeting was a commercial presentation by Garantia. Though its always interesting to hear about new companies, I don't think there is a place for commercial presentations.

Yoav AvrahamiThe lecture by Shlomy Boshy was great. It showed a number of unique caching patterns (I'd call them more like memory grid, not a cache). However, the lectures from the Garanita guys was just a advertisement - a 10 minutes shallow intro to memcached and Redis, and mostly what their product can do for a developer (but not going into technical stuff). The all idea of ILTechTalks is to give useful information from experience, and the Garanita guys no information from experience and shared only ads.

I used memcachd and wrote a cache invalidation functionality on top of it, makes wonders !
