Build it and they will come…Right? Wrong!

With over 500,000 apps available on the iTunes, it can seem intimidating for a developer to launch an app. It would be great to have your app noticed and downloaded by millions of users but how does one accomplish this?

I will share marketing and design strategies developers can follow to market your apps and get more downloads in iTunes. For example, what’s more important, an app’s icon, or its name? We will go over the answer to this question as well as other interesting tricks to help you optimize your app downloads.

Who is Omar?

Omar was Product Manager at Tripper Labs, a mobile app development studio that was acquired by Playdom and is now part of Disney. He has launched apps ranked as high as #2 overall free downloads on the iTunes store. He also has experience in finance working at Citi at Sales and Trading and in M&A investment banking.

Omar is an MBA form Stanford University and an engineer from Columbia University.
