After the great success of our inaugural meetups, we are now expanding to a bigger space. We are also very excited to announce the beginning of our speaker series. For this meetup, we are fortunate to welcome Peter Semmelhack, Founder of Bug Labs, and Narayan Menon, VP of Interdigital Labs:
Peter Semmelhack, Bug Labs (http://buglabs.net/) Founder and CEO, is a seasoned entrepreneur in the IoT and mobile spaces. Before starting Bug Labs, he was the Founder and CEO of Antenna Software, the largest independent enterprise mobility provider in the world. In addition to his speech, he will also be hosting a book giveaway and signing for his Social Machines book (details at http://buglabs.net/social-machines)
Narayan Menon, InterDigital’s Vice President of InterDigital Labs (http://www.interdigital.com/), is responsible for technology strategy, innovation and technology development in the area of next-generation wireless networks. Narayan will discuss the next generation of IoT and some of the challenges facing today’s M2M ecosystem, including device diversity and network scale due to vertical solutions. He believes that the next generation of IoT is all about horizontal platforms that enable scale and a rich landscape of applications that can support interoperability between the diverse devices, applications and networks in the market today.
