Metasploit 101

This month Kevin is doing some training on how to use Metasploit. We'll kick off around 7.30pm, but if you're keen to participate, rather than just observe, please come in a little earlier so we can make sure we all have the software installed and running correctly. Bring along a laptop. If you can, bring a live CD/USB, or virtual machine of Kali Linux (https://www.kali.org/downloads/). We will have 2 VM's available to be installed. 1 for Kali and 1 for metasploitable2 (https://information.rapid7.com/metasploitable-download.html), a purpose built VM to exploit. Kevin will be there from 6 pm.

Also there will be a discussion about Christchurch's own security conference. ( https://2016.chcon.nz )

As usual our hacking lab and some lock picking gear will be available.
