IXR 3rd Annual Barbecue and Open House

Let's kick-off the 2014 Summer of Making... It's the 3rd-Annual IXR Barbecue!

Everyone is invited

This is a great time to come to IXR, enjoy some awesome food, meet our community, and check out our hackerspace. If you haven't been to one of our BBQs before - they're awesome!

Open-House

This is also an Open House event. A lot of things are happening at the IXR lab, so if you haven't been here in a while, you don't want to miss this chance to check out what's new. Some of our new things to check out include our new lab layout with a dedicated machine shop section, a Levin lathe/micro drilling machine, a Shapeoko 2 CNC Router, and more!

We'll be having demonstrations of our equipment and technology, and IXR members will have projects on exhibit, so be sure to check them out.

Bring some food!

Like our past barbecues, everyone is invited and encouraged to bring something to the table. We have a Google Doc sign-up sheet so you can tell us what you're bringing (to avoid duplicates, and make sure we have all the necessities covered).

Infoage Science Center

The Infoage Science Center, which is home to IXR, will also be open. Be sure to check out the museum exhibits while you're here.
