Champaign Meetup to Open the ILOpenTech Challenge

Join us for the second Champaign meeting of the Illinois Open Technology Challenge (http://illinoisopentech.org/)(ILOpenTech) at the Champaign Public Library.

At this meetup, we will officially launch the contest. We'll publish the rules, give information on judging, and announce the prizes. We'll field any questions and be available to give advice on submissions. We'll also talk more about the data, facilitate team discussions and formation, and hear from the community about their technology needs. 6 - 6:30 Introductions

We'll go around the room, introduce ourselves, and say a brief statement about what you’re up to.

6:30 – 7 Announce the Contest Launch

We'll publish the rules, give information on judging, and announce the prizes. There will be $15,000 in prize money for a Champaign-focused solution.

7 – 8 Discussion and Team Formation

We'll answer questions and talk amongst ourselves about data, technology, and community!
