We will be arriving at 7:30am and shooting outside until 8:45. We have special exclusive access inside at 8:45 before the public can enter (public tours begin at 10am and start with a video orientation so we have ~90 minutes before we will see people and even then people traffic at 10am will be light). We can stay inside even after the public enters we just cannot block their passage. We will eat lunch at the park (right there at the file factory), and then we hope to have models outside after lunch (that will be posted as a separate meetup with a separate fee as soon as we have enough models confirmed).

If you need help taking HDR images Tom and I will be providing assistance outside, we can help you set up your camera to take multiple exposures. Please feel free to ask us to check your histogram, exposure or composition when inside as well, note that Tom and I will be shooting inside along with you. We do offer a full hands on HDR workshops in our Studio if you are new to HDR. We do have one August 20th prior to this weekend at Holcombe and Moravian Tile Factory. Check out the HDR workshop here: https://www.meetup.com/Image-Enhancement/events/115556662/

The Moravian Pottery and Tile Works, a National Historic Landmark, is maintained as a "working history" museum by Pennsylvania's County of Bucks, Department of Parks and Recreation. Handmade tiles are still produced in a manner similar to that developed by the pottery's founder and builder, Henry Chapman Mercer (1856-1930). Mercer was a major proponent of the Arts & Crafts Movement in America. He directed the work at the pottery from 1898 until his death in 1930. You may still purchase handmade reissues of tiles and mosaics made in the American Arts & Crafts tradition from us. Come visit and tour our historic museum. Tours are offered every half-hour and consist of a brief video followed by a self-guided walk through the facility. Visitors will see original installations, various displays, and selected aspects of current tile production.
