Details
Come with us on this exclusive photo tour and photograph inside the Mark Twain house, with tripods, before public hours!! Meet outside at 8am, shoot inside 8:30-11am. No out of state travel on this one, we are in our backyard in Hartford CT.
Inside and out, this place is spectacular! They said that we can have full run of the house, including the upstairs Billiards Room.
All of the monies collected for this event are being donated to the Mark Twain house. Participants are also providing copies of their photos to the Mark Twain house for their promotional use.
They have stipulated our tripods have rubber tips, which most of us do but I wanted to mention that too

"The Mark Twain House & Museum has restored the author’s Hartford, Connecticut, home, where the author and his family lived from 1874 to 1891. Twain wrote his most important works during the years he lived there, including Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, and A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur’s Court. In addition to providing tours of Twain’s restored home, a National Historic Landmark, the institution offers activities and educational programs that illuminate Twain’s literary legacy and provide information about his life and times."
Please note that this is a photo tour, it is about ACCESS with TRIPODS. Some of our outings are better suited for beginner photographers. You are always free to ask us questions but we are not running this as a teaching shot, it is a shoot about access to this grand historic place.
We welcome beginners on many (almost all) of our shoots, but for this shoot you are expected to have experience with your camera (change your ISO, change your aperture, change your shutter speed). If you are brand new to photography or HDR we have regular in Studio HDR setup classes, email us and we can set up a private workshop for you before this event.
Please note that all of our workshops require the participants sign a liability waiver. Download it here; then print, read and sign it and bring it with you, Thanks! (http://files.meetup.com/1777223/Acknowledgment%20and%20Assumption%20of%20Risk%2C%20Liability%20Release%20and%20Arb.pdf)
