HDR inside Gillette Castle

We have special access to Gillette Castle for the day. We will have the inside to ourselves (after it closes to the public in October) with tripods! Please note that you are not registered for this workshop until we receive your payment.

We have three workshops (Sleepy Hollow, Gillette and Mark Twain) going on this weekend, save $50 if you come to all three AND get a free post-processing/HDR class at our studio (sorry no substitutions if you cannot make it). FYI, The castle opens to the public memorial day weekend to columbus day weekend, but they do not allow tripods inside. We will be there with tripods to capture all of the details inside! Wahoo! It is really awesome!

We will spend the first part of the session (outside) going over camera settings and tips for HDR for those of you who need it. We will be outside from 12-2 (if you are new to HDR then this is a good time to practice your HDR and get ready for inside; we will help you!) and then we are shooting inside the Castle from 2-6pm. Tom and I will be teaching and helping outside to ensure that you are comfortable capturing HDR exposures, but please note that we will be shooting once we go inside. Begineers are welcome and we can work with you from 12-2 and will always answer anyone's questions anytime during any shoot.

For those of you that are brand new to exposure and need help setting up your camera for HDR we do offer workshops on how to set up your camera for HDR.

Things to Bring:

dSLR, wide angle lens

Sturdy tripod

Cable release or self timer (you will be shooting HDR and need your images aligned, and some exposures could last 1-30 seconds so you need a cable release).
