The Citizen Targets In the Air

The Ottawa Citizen will be attending the throw to cover us in a story about unique groups in the city. Here is a time to shine with the group and show your spirit - and show everyone why you joined the group!

This will be a great event, we're looking forward to a great turnout!

The Theme of the event is "Taking it Down". I want member to bring targets they have designed or have been wanting to try out. This will be an opportunity for us to try different target designs and materials for experimental purposes, in hopes of discovering new possibilities for the future! This could be the box idea that I've suggested to new members, cabinet doors, log rounds, 2x4's, or anything else creative you've come up with!

I am also looking into getting shirts to be available for members - stay tuned!

This is going to be the best throw yet! Please post comments, ideas and suggestions for the throw as I'm looking forward to hearing your ideas.

New members will receive a great walk through on your first throw. Experienced throwers will pave the way for the rest!

Be sure to attend the Orientation on the Tuesday before the throw if you haven't already! IF you have not attended an orientation, you may attend as a spectator and cheer on the group. In the future, please attend Orientation in order to participate in a throw!
