This group is for South Africans in Ireland and their friends. It is a Social Club for adults (must be over 18 years of age) who want to meet new people, develop new friendships, participate in common interest activiites (the possibilities are endless), network, share resources, build 'a sense of community' and have a bit of fun! This is an inclusive group for South Africans and friends  of all ages and backgrounds immaterial of race , gender, religion & sexual orientation. We cater to different ages & interests by organising particular MeetUps that meet their needs. We organise Events: movie nights, book clubs, walking/hiking, museum visits, mother's groups, coffee MeetUps, trips abroad, FUNdraising events, pub nights, clubbing, theatre, meals out, sports etc. We also support South African Businesses in Ireland and Events in our wider Community. Events are based in Dublin but we plan to roll this out to all counties in Ireland as our membership increases. Special efforts are made to facilitate people who come to events on their own or for the first time. Arrangements are made to meet up with anyone interested before an event so you don't have to go on your own. We have all been 'Newbies' at one time or another ;) We have 'Meeter Greeters' to meet you before an Event and also to ensure that everyone is given a warm welcome. An ethos/culture of respect, warmth, dignity and inclusivity for all members........ is expected. Feel free to suggest any ideas you have for exciting/alternative events. Your ideas are always welcome ;) Our MeetUps are varied and many of them are free.   This Club is non commercial/non-profit. Membership is free. We hope to get sponsors for some of the events and towards the development  of Indaba.
