We are glad to announce next OpenStack meetup scheduled on September 12, 2015 (Saturday) , hosted by
Huawei Technologies India Pvt Ltd.

15-20 mins Welcome & Keynote followed by maximum 3 -4 talks .Apart from that we will use time for networking and if anyone wants to do a 10 minutes lighting talk he/she is most welcome.

Fully Scalable Networking with MidoNet

Abstract:
After deploying OpenStack Neutron with the default plugin, you have
probably experienced some of its issues and limitations with regard to
scalability and fault-tolerance. However, these are not generic
problems of software-defined networking (SDN) and luckily, there are
alternative plugins readily available.

In this session, MidoNet Community Manager Sandro Mathys will first
explain why the default plugin in OpenStack Neutron is not suitable
for most production environments and explain how its open source
community has designed MidoNet with scalability in mind, while
avoiding a single point of failure (SPOF). Furthermore, he’ll give an
overview of the community and explain how to contribute to the
project.
