What types of games do you like to make? What type do you play if any?

I have experience making puzzle games for game jams, and so far I enjoy them. I like being able to create a set of mechanics around a theme and then use those as tools to build out several puzzles or levels. I like to play games with a lot of character that aren't afraid to not take themselves seriously. I also really enjoy co-op games, especially couch co-op. Communal gaming experiences are the best and most memorable for me.

Do you make games full time or part time?

Part time.

What skills do you have pertaining to game development? (Programming languages, artistic talents, animation, game design, etc...)

Mostly game design, and then I dabble in coding to fill in when necessary. I used to have artistic bones in my body but it's been way too long since I've exercised them; it's definitely a skill I would like to get into decent shape, especially during jams when we need an artist in a pinch.

If you are not making or playing a game, what do you do with your time? What other hobbies or activites do you particapate in?

I like to play music. I was raised as a classically trained double bassist and that's really influenced my growth as a person over the years.

CS grad student at DePaul, lover of game jams.
