How are you involved in making indie games? Are you a programmer, an artist, a jack-of-all-trades?

What are you working on now?

Indie, or workin' for the man?

Indie at the moment. Once my larger demo is ready, I'll send it to local developers and hopefully find at least an entry-level job. I could certainly use the money, as well as the experience at a professional company, because my long-term goals are to establish a revenue stream and stay independent.

What languages/tool/frameworks are you using? Unity, GameMaker, C/C++, etc?

Unity Basic, for now. I'm only on my first project, but I've been working with the engine for over four months and I'm almost ready to release a full demo. After that, I will begin looking for a team to assist me in developing the artwork. You can find a smaller demo of my project, a top down shooter that will combine modern weapon with spellcasting, located here:

I've always been interested in gaming, and my family moved to the area largely because of the opportunities I would have in the industry. I began development with XNA, but the lack of support for basic features (e.g., animation) led me to Unity.
