Event FAQ

Since there are some new faces and with the recent move to our own meetup group, I wanted to chime in on a few topics.

1) Thursday/ Saturday Gaming has been an established event at the Arsenal for several years. While RSVP's may seem low, there are usually 20-25 on Thursday nights and 25-40 for the Saturday events. These numbers vary in the summer due to other events, vacations or just enjoying the nice weather.

2) These events are completely open. Therefore, the veteran members are more than willing to teach games and the newcomers are encouraged to jump into games they are unfamiliar with. If you have a particular game that you would like to try, post under the specific event. The odds are in your favor that someone will have the requested game.

3) You do not have to bring games. For those who do, they will typically bring 2-4 games and then groups break off for the different games. You may not play the game(s) you brought, but you will play something awesome. It should also be noted the type(s) of games played varies within the group. From the light/ party to heavy euro, we have you covered.

4) The library games will start to roll in over the next few events. Currently about 25 games are being punched, sorted and tagged. Even though the library may be slim at this point, the selection is varied and there are no "vanilla" games.

5) Most importantly have fun. If any questions arise, please feel free to contact Ken, Matt, Marc or Bill.
