Hello Infracoders!
Please join us to talk about anything related to infrastructure as code. Reece have kindly offered to host the Infracoders meetup and will supply food and beverages.
We usually have 2 technical talks per meetup. We start at 6pm and will be finished by 8pm.
You're also welcome to hang around afterwards across the road at the reopened Cherry Tree Hotel for an informal Post Meetup Review with your hosts.
Presentation 1 . Ryan Djurovich // How podplane.dev deploys Kubernetes clusters using OpenTofu
Podplane is a new open source project, with a CLI that scaffolds OpenTofu configuration and deploys a fully-preconfigured Kubernetes cluster to AWS or Google Cloud in just a few minutes. What started as a simple idea and vision for an ideal PaaS developer experience, turned out to be 2+ years of work! Under the hood, Podplane uses custom OpenTofu modules and providers to achieve it's goal. This talk will dive into how this works and the challenges and problems solved in building it.
Presentation 2 . TBC
If you'd like to present please contact the organisers (via Meetup, or on Slack: https://join.slack.com/t/infracoders/shared_invite/zt-4277k4e9g-829iw7LVPNUbQ7k_2arVOw) with a talk topic, one paragraph description and estimate of the time (20 minutes max).
As always, please update your RSVP as your availability changes. All venues have space considerations for safety and comfort of Infracoders.
Please contact Matt (@geekle), David (@dlutzy), Phil (@Phil J) or Peter H (@Peter) if you'd like to present a topic relevant to the group or host a meetup at your office.
