Tal Rotbart (@rotbart) Politburo, a Ruby-based DSL that lets you describe entire environments in declarative code, and launch them with a single command.
Launch in the cloud, or locally. It is still Ruby, with all that implies. Remote tasks are written in Babushka. It is different than Chef, Puppet, Ansible in many ways and is geared towards fully describing your environment as something you could check-in as part of your code repository, and even test as part of your CI build.
Peter Hall (@pkh) AWS cloudformation and cumulus:CloudFormation is Amazon Web Service's tool for creating and managing "stacks" of other AWS resources as code.
Cumulus is a tool we wrote at catchoftheday.com.au to help you manage your stacks in CloudFormation and build bigger logical stacks from multiple cloudformation stacks. https://github.com/cotdsa/cumulus.
