Making an exhibition-quality digital print requires Photoshop skills combined with a trained aesthetic eye. This group will explore and discuss these subtle aspects of print-making and how they affect the final output.
Meet-ups will take place at Dot Editions, a fine-art print studio in Park Slope, Brooklyn. Dot Editions founder, Rocky Kenworthy has been working in the photography industry for over 25 years. The last ten years have been focused on bridging the gap between traditional printing and digital pigment printing. Opportunities will be provided for attendants to make their own giclée prints, taking full control of the digital printing process instead of putting it in the hands of a digital lab technician.
