fish canyon falls

when: sun may 19th at 8 a.m.

where: fish canyon falls / duarte

difficulty: strenuous

distance: 9 miles out and back

gain: 2,280 out and back

time: 5-6 hrs

what to bring: plenty of water , good shoes, sun screen, hat , sun glasses, bug repelent, lunch and or snacks. extra shirt and socks.

directions: 210 west exit irwindale head north to foothill left (west) on foothill it will turn into huntington continue to encanto prkwy turn right on encanto, continue about 1.3 miles, park in the dirt parking lot on the left just before the stables.

i keep a very strong and steady pace this is not a beginner hike, if you cant keep up you will get left behind, and most likley be eaten by lions, tigers, and bears.please know your limits.

Please note: Portions of the Fish Canyon trail are steep, rocky and narrow. Hiking boots are recommended. Hiking can be very dangerous. Hike at your own risk
