bridge to nowhere

we will be joining up with 2 other meetup groups fro this one, early bird and happy hour hiking groups so it should be a fun day.

time: we will be starting the hike at 830 a.m. sharp so please give yourself enough time to get there and find parking

what to bring: hat , sun glasses, sun screen, plenty af water, comfortable shoes or boots, exhttp://photos4.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/7/5/6/3/event_31050051.jpegtra socks , lunch, some people use water shoes some take there shoes off while water crossing its up too you

i will be keeping a steady pace on this hike please be in good shape as there will be alot of hikers going on this trip if you feel you can't keep up or may be slowing the group down you can turn back at any time, the trail is well defined and easy to get back to the parking area. there will be 200+ people on the trail through out the day leaving trash, breaking branches and carving there names in the tree's (please don't be that guy/girl) it should be a nice hot day perfect for a bridge to nowhere hike

what to bring. plenty of water( if you show up with no water or very little water you will be asked not to come on the hike, this is for your own safety), lunch, running shoes, boots or water shoes, sun screen, sun glasses, hat (remember pack out what you pack in)

There are some small trails that lead down to the stream just after you cross the bridge. This is a stunning setting with shear pink tinted granite walls, roaring cascades, and the lovely bridge in thhttp://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/d/d/f/6/event_92996822.jpege background. this is where we will be hiking to for lunch, then on our way back we will hike below the bridge, take a few pic's then hike back.

there are 6+ water crossings bring extra socks

Trailhead: From Interstate 10 or the 210 freeway, exit on Azusa and head north 10 miles or so, paralleling the San Gabriel Dam on your right. Turn right on East Fork Road and continue 8 more miles to the East Fork Station, where the road dead ends. Note that if you go around a hairpin 180 degree turn on East Fork Road, you missed the road into the Sheep Mountain Wilderness. The trail head is short distance down an obvious service road. (Lat:34.2372 Lon:-117.76546).
