Menu:
Appetizer
• Gravlax- This is a traditional Nordic means of preparing salmon. The salmon is coated with a spice mixture, which often includes dill, sugars, salt, and spices like juniper berry. It is then weighted down to force the moisture from the fish and impart the flavorings; served on toast points with a sweet mustard-dill sauce.
Main Course Dishes:
• Seared Scallops (Chef Ramsey style)
• Kitchen Clambake (Is it really possible to throw a clambake right in your very own kitchen, regardless of what the weather is doing outside? ~~~ YES!)
The seafood dishes are included in the sign-up price. The rest of the dinner is potluck style.
We need volunteers to bring the following:
(1)Toast Points (recipe is in the message board above under the discussions tab. Bread Folder)
(2)Mustard Sauce (recipe is in the message board above under the discussions tab. Appetizer Folder)
(3)Side dishes that will pair with the Seared Scallops.
Suggestions would be: Risotto, Spring Cabbage Salad, Creamed Spinach, Spring Vegetable Puree to name a few.
(4)Desserts
(5) Wine to pair with the seafood dishes.
