Innovation & Interaction is back!
We're celebrating this special occasion with an exclusive partnership with the recently rebranded POSSIBLE, previously known as Carnation. Get ready for the mindblowing presentations, because this time we’re preparing with experimental JavaScript!
- Presentations
-> Jan Jongboom (Telenor Digital, Norway)
Jan works on Mozilla's open web technologies-based smartphone OS, Firefox OS - and leads the research of Telenor Digital's "Experimental Engineering" project (Codename "Gonzo") which tries to push both Mozilla's new operating system & the low-cost hardware its built upon to the limit. You might have seen his talks at JSConf EU/Asia as he strips phone hardware down to the bare chips and - and slamming onto them his own "JanOS" build, unleashes the power of the web on the unsuspecting hardware!
-> Ákos Csertán
The insecurity of things - Privacy and security considerations around IoT and wearables.
By creating more connected devices and more sensors, we inevitably produce vast amounts of data - the least we should do is understand what this data is and what can be made out of it.
-> Attila Lőrincz & Csaba Csecskedi
How we created an app for your smartwatch with a thousand faces - and why? Attila & Csaba letting you peek into the UX & development decisions that were involved in the making of POSSIBLE's highly customizable watchface app for Samsung's Tizen-based wearable platform.
- Show & Tell
Lightning talks! Experimental research projects/case studies of the POSSIBLE UID team. Technical, hands-on fun from the niches of the web platform and the singularity of 21. century tech:
-> Bálint Lendvai
Gesture control in web applications via the LeapMotion controller.
-> József Szabadszállási
Use of device motion-sensors in creating interactive 3D web experiences.
