Topic: Nick Stein - Mindfulness in the Time of Covid

Summary:
When the world turned upside in 2020, how did you cope? Want a tool to help you do better; to upgrade your resiliency? Mindfulness via meditation helps us deconstruct and reframe our reactions and feelings; honoring them without becoming their victims.

With the country frayed by cultural tribalism and the world traumatized by a terrifying pandemic, what can we, as individuals, families and companies do to hang on, weather the storm and come back stronger? Is it possible to upgrade our resiliency? Yes.

In this brief talk (with meditations), we will focus on using mindfulness as a tool for building resiliency, self-regulation, meaning and perspective. With its emphasis on self-awareness, training attention, letting go and accessing positive emotions, this practice consciously addresses the issues at hand in a far calmer and less reactive way.
