Finding your way through mobile development and marketing.

Smart device adoption is growing ten times faster than PC purchases in the 80s, and 3 times faster than the 90s internet boom. Mobile-optimized websites, mobile marketing and mobile apps are essential for modern companies.

But, it’s easy to get lost in the fast changes and abstract apps of the mobile landscape. Join us as we journey through the labyrinth of mobile development and marketing.

Expert Panelists:

Bryan Fox, C0-Founder of Upstart Labs Learn what happens when early stage start-ups get new investment and an expanded team.

Patrick Lightbody of New Relic Meet a developer's best friend for monitoring your apps.

Andy Rosic, CEO of Selfpubd Find out the magic sauce in effectively promoting your apps.

Mobile is a hot topic. I would love to see a future panel discuss mobile security considerations.

Thanks to the panelists for taking the time to discuss the mobile labyrinth. Although the discussion did not necessarily make one optimistic about the labyrinth (no fault of the panelists), they brought some excellent advice to help app developers navigate it. In terms of the marketing side (as opposed to development), I would have liked to hear some concrete advice and stats on what avenues work best to reach an audience.

Thanks Kevin for keeping this event on the monthly rotation.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
