January Allen (above) is currently a partner at OMH (Overturf, McGath & Hull) in Denver, specializing in intellectual property (IP) transactional work and general civil litigation. While Jefferson County has been home base since childhood, she moved far and wide with her military family, earning a B.S. in Biology at the College of Charleston and her J.D. in Hawaii before settling back in Colorado.

January has been admitted to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office for the past ten years. She is passionate about helping innovator, artist, and entrepreneur clients identify and implement the legal protections necessary to safeguard the fruits of their intellectual labors. Married to an engineer for one of Golden’s local bike industry companies, she is also the proud mother of two little boys.
