Hi,

A few quick notes for folks considering join us for the Lost Meetup this Saturday. It should be a blast!

It is worth either getting your ferry tickets online, or getting down to Long Wharf early to purchase them. They do sell out of tickets on the weekend. Plan on taking the 11:30 ferry or earlier. If for any reason you do run late, you'll find the group in the beach picnic area off to the left when you arrive on the dock. I'll send out my cellphone number to the Yes/Maybes Friday night.

The food concessions on the island are limited due to some construction, so plan to bring food and drinks with you.

We'll be out in the sun for awhile, so plan clothing, hats and sunblock appropriately.

If you are not coming by T into Boston, you can find several parking garages that offer flat rate all day parking.
Note that the parking garage near the aquarium and the parking garage on Clinton street next to the Faneuil Marketplace are pretty pricey. The parking garage off of State Street (very near the Faneuil Hall Marketplace)
offers a flat rate. Also, up on the corner of Pearl Street and Franklin Street is a garden park with parking garage underneath that is around $9 flat rate on weekends.

I'd like to thank Dr. Marvin Candle, and the fine folks at the Hanso Foundation for sponsoring this event. It hard to think of group that has done more to make a difference in the world than the Hanso Foundation. From their Institute for Genomic Advancement, Mathematical Forecasting Initiative, Worldwide Wellness and Prevention Development Program and the Educational Outreach Imperative, the Hanso Foundation has demonstrated the path to a better future for humanity.

Check out their web site:

Namaste,

Jim
