Inside Edge Innovation Maker and Brewtaker Challenge With Squamish Rebuild!

Grab your tool belts, put on your creative glasses, and let's build Inside Edge Innovation Vision for the Squamish Day Parade! Yes, that's right, a visual, moving, auditory landmark of all that we are and can be. Ready to get your hands dirty and collaborate? Join the crew over brews and tools and let our maker skills shine!

When: July 31, 2014, from 5-9pm (feel free to join us when you can)

Where: Squamish Rebuild, 40350 Government Rd, Squamish, BC V0N 1T0

Attire: Work clothes - we're gonna get dirty!

Challenge: You get a few hours to design and build a float using the materials at Squamish Rebuild. Feel free to contribute more materials but this one will be one supremely upcycled float and must be dismantled to its original or improved materials or product version. This float will represent the innovative spirit of Squamish and must be parade worthy! The stakes are high and our maker minds super charged!

Notes:

• We are looking for a flatbed trailer as the float base so let us know if you can lend us one. Ideas around sound, movement, visuals - share them!

• If you've got a GoPro (or equivalent) camera to document this creative process, bring it along!

• Feel free to start brainstorming in the comment section to get a head start!
