The Inspired Word presents two wonderful spoken word poets, Ezra K. Richards and Full Moon (in from London), plus 10-year-old singing sensation Rebecca Parnass and our amazing 20-slot open mic open to all types of artists. Hosted by 3-time HBO Def Poetry star Gemineye.

BIOS:

Ezra K. Richards, a native Trinidadian based in New York City is a published Spoken Word Artist, Public Speaker, Writer and Song Writer. As a youth, Ezra pursued professional dancing, acting and modeling. He switched roles becoming an All-American and Olympic qualifier for the Trinidadian National Track and Field team in 2004. He is an alumni of Georgetown University where he fostered his writing and performance skills while hosting and participating in his curriculum's workshops. Ezra receives mentoring and training from the likes of 2007 Obie Award Winner Daniel Beaty and Artist Development F.A.C.E Coach Robin Dunn. He is a member of Christian Cultural Center under the spiritual leadership of Pastor A.R Bernard. Ezra acknowledges the anointing on his gifts and desires to use all of them for kingdom work.

Full Moon is a recognized face on both the London and Manchester open mic scene, using her lyrical ability to express her vulnerabilities on stage, in hope that others will be inspired to do the same. Full Moon works as a fully qualified Youth and Community Worker, with a working history of some of the most deprived and challenging urban communities in England. Full Moon has also recently received unexpected interest and following in her regular blog, which attempts to deconstruct and analyze the world around her.

Rebecca Parnass is a 10-year-old singer who wows audiences with her covers of Adele songs. Her loves includes drawing, acting, dancing, and her two cats. She believes in "being kind to others, helping friends, and standing up for yourself and others."
