Understanding the Mysteries of the Unconscious by Dr Jennifer Kunst

Details
I am extremely pleased to announce than Dr Jennifer Kunst is visiting us all the from LA!!! This talk is 1 night only and it will serve as a launch for her new book.
In this interactive talk, Jennifer will explore some very practical and important questions about psychological life such as: How can it be that perfectly intelligent people do such obviously counter productive things so much of the time? Why do we do the things we know we shouldn't do, and why do we fail to do the things we know we should do?
She will show us that the simple answer to these questions is that the unconscious mind greatly influences all that we do. Like an iceberg, powerful forces lie beneath the surface layers of our lives. She will show us that we can make lasting changes in our lives if we dig deep to make them.
The audience will be able to take away a deeper understanding of the following mythbusters, offered in a humorous and constructive way:
Mythbuster #1 Life is fair: Not!
Mythbuster #2 Ignorance is bliss: Not!
Mythbuster #3 The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence: Not!
Mythbuster #4 True love is unconditional love: Not!
There also will be a free raffle for a copy of her book, Wisdom from the Couch, which will also be available for purchase (₤11).
