Adam Eason presents "Real Life Self-Hypnosis". Doors open 6:30. Talk start at 7.

Real Life Self-Hypnosis

Talk copy: So how about I show you that if you paid attention during this presentation, by the end of it you could very easily use your mind to induce a robust analgesia in your arm or mouth? Well, that is the challenge I set myself for this event.

You'll learn what self-hypnosis is and why some people do not think it can exist, I mean, hypnosis is something done by one person to another, right? We'll put it into some historical context too, which doesn't sound too sexy, but I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

I'm going to demonstrate a protocol that I have taught for 15 years that enables everyone and anyone to pick up, run with and apply self-hypnosis with much gain right away.
We'll get serious about the subject matter, but not that serious. After all, I am the man who taught self-hypnosis to the masses in a 'Tripnosis' tent at the Glastonbury festival for gaining natural highs. I'll show you some of that stuff too.

Self-hypnosis helped me overcome a chronic skin disorder, get intoxicated on water, avoid jet lag when travelling and a load of other applications that many deem the territory of fantasy yet are simple realities with the correct application. Clients and students of mine have had teeth removed using only self-hypnosis instead of anaesthesia and I'll show you how that is done.

Importantly, you'll learn an effective way to develop intimacy with yourself and how to really utilise more of your own resources.
Basically, you'll be the Hypnotist of you once I'm done speaking.
We'll have some fun too.... And there'll be some daring demonstration... All packed into 90 minutes.

About Adam Eason

When it's me writing the bio, I may as well speak in the first person tense, right?

I am an utter hypnosis geek. Having been in professional practice as a hypnotherapist since the 1990s, I've seen several thousand clients benefit from hypnotherapy. I've written books on hypnosis, translated into several languages, had a couple of bestsellers and a flop or two along the way. I run a very busy and thriving hypnotherapy training school on the South Coast. My hypnosis audio materials sell globally and are the cornerstone of my business.

When I am not geeking it up about all things hypnosis, I run. Mostly along the sea front where I live on the South Coast, which might sound idyllic but involves a lot of hills and hardcore winds that shove you along or make you feel like you are running on the spot when faced. In April and May this year I ran 5 marathons one after the other in consecutive weeks and attribute my successive personal best times as much to self-hypnosis as I do to the hours of running beside the beach, on tracks and up hills at all hours of the day.

I was the psychological guy helping the marathon runners alongside Sally Gunnell and Steve Cramm on BBC1's Run For Glory TV show back in 2006 and I've had a couple of other flirts with TV including my 5 minute blockbuster role on CBeebies 3pm 'Smokehouse' show which I think rocket-fuelled my career.

An excellent, well-prepared and highly professional talk from Adam Eason. It is hard to imagine how a talk on the subject could be more interesting, or more authoritative.

Was a great talk and demonstration of self hypnosis. Hypnosis has made a big positive difference to me so was a very interesting subject.

Ok will try to explain. At the moment the event is sold out and there are 50+ people waiting for a seat. If someone who has a seat cancels then an email is automatically sent to those on the waiting list. It is then first come first served to change your RSVP from waiting list to going. You are unable to do so at present as there are no spots available.

It isn't a perfect system, and it is all managed by meetup and not myself. My best advise is to book onto event early when there are seats available.

Hi Serah. I wish it was that easy. Adam is actually coming all the way from Bournemouth to give this talk. We are very lucky to be able to get him just the once let alone multiple nights. My advice is to book up early for the events you want to attend.

    Warm regards

    Matt

this topic seems to be very popular, you need to host this events more regularly so that people can have opportunity to attend, weekly or twice weekly maybe
