Whether you are an individual striving to build a personal brand, or a small business interested in learning about social media strategy, this presentation will address big picture strategic concepts down to specific numbers and real examples.

Fresh out of an MBA in entrepreneurship from Trinity Western University, Tyrell Mara is excited to share a fresh and exciting perspective on how he believes these fundamental values create an effective foundation in the world of social media marketing and online branding.

In this presentation you will learn:

Authentic brand engagement through social media
Establishing valuable connections though online conversations
Building qualified online communities
Measuring real business results and return on investment (ROI)

Tyrell has an intrinsic, life long belief that we open ourselves up to incredible opportunity when we own our brand, have truly meaningful conversation, and build valuable community.

For the past 6 months Tyrell has been working with a business consulting firm called Tekara Organizational Effectiveness. His role has been to develop, implement, and integrate their social media and online branding strategy. He has tracked and measured all of Tekara’s efforts and is excited to share their progress in a case study format.

Vancouver's Business, Marketing, Social Media & Career and Social Networking Group - Internet Marketing Masterminds Group

For over two years Internet Masterminds Group social networking meetup happen every Monday night at 7pm to network and discuss Internet marketing related and social media topics. We’re now the largest Internet marketing social networking group in the city and the most active Meetup in Vancouver. We charge $5 at the door and use those funds to help enhance the quality of the social networking meetup. Since we implemented the fee we’re getting higher turn-outs then ever before (which may or may not relate to the $5 fee). So far we’ve used the funds to buy more chairs, throw a free BBQ for our members, get a logo for the group designed and we have a few more ideas in the works ;)

Internet Masterminds is a non-profit social networking group. We've even had some people think Internet Masterminds was a "business" but it's more like an offline social network. At Internet Masterminds Group we invite entrepreneurs and companies to share 60 minutes about a specific topic related to Internet Marketing they are passionate about. These speakers are not paid, but they understand the value of giving back to the social community and sharing their lessons learned.

Here is why you should join Internet Masterminds Group:

1) Friends, I believe many of the Internet Mastermind members would say they have made good friends from networking at the meetups. Many of us hang out outside of the group and outside the business/marketing world.

2) Referrals, most often you'll find it's not the people in the group who want to buy your products and services but it's the people they know that may want to. At every Meetup you will have an opportunity to network with other members and entrepreneurs and possibly find ways to promote each others business.

Internet Masterminds Group meets Monday nights at 7pm at 1633 West 2nd. Meetups are $5 and donations are reinvested back into the group. You don’t have to be an Internet marketing expert to attend, we are friendly social networking group.
