8:30 - 9:00 PM Networking, conversations, demo follow-ups

Speakers

Bob Cooper, CMO, Zonoff, Inc. - Zonoff, Inc. provides a comprehensive software platform to channel partners who, in turn, deliver "Connected Home" products and services to the consumer mass market. Zonoff will discuss and demonstrate their latest connected home products.

Geoffrey Barrows, CEO CentEye - CentEye designs and builds vision sensors. Geof will demonstrate several IoT applications including micro-drone applications. He will also give a report on the Trillion Sensors Summit just held at Stanford on Oct 23-25.

Logan Soya, CEO Aquicore - Aquicore is changing the commercial buildings landscape by using sensors and software to reduce building operations and maintenance costs. Logan will show and tell about the building sensors they are using and how data is collected and processed to improve commercial building operating efficiencies.

At the meetup Greg Toth, founder of Internet of Things DC, will have on-hand several hardware and software technologies used to build Internet of Things applications, including IoT projects he is currently working on.

If you have an interesting IoT product or application you'd like to show at an IoT DC meetup, please let us know!

Thank You Greg for inviting me to share my (crazy?) thoughts with what will certainly be DC's best and hottest tech meetup group. I was honored to be sandwiched between two excellent presentations showing clearly that IoT is here and now. This is a fantastic group, filled with smart and truly innovative people.

I'd ask, for those who have a chance, to please see the new thread I opened in the group discussion section.

    Thanks!

Great to see everyone at the IoT DC meetup last night! A big thanks to the presenters (Zonoff, CentEye and Aquicore), to Tandem for letting us meet at their offices in Chinatown, and to Antonio for shooting and uploading all the great pictures. Stay tuned for the next meetup!

An outstanding balance of technical potential, reality and policy implications. Great speakers who gave different, but complementary views of the IOT. And Greg did a wonderful job keeping things on track with focus and humor. Greg also set a vision for the group, an action that differentiates this as one of the best meet ups in town.

Looks like I won't be making it. Sad to miss out, but hope one of the 16 waiters can take my spot at the last minute.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
