This is a brand new group dedicated to helping those who've just stumbled upon or recently started using GNU/Linux. Maybe this is you? Maybe you know someone else who fits this description?

We are not geared toward the "geek" or computer "power user". We will be working with Ubuntu GNU/Linux but users of other GNU/Linux distributions will find this group useful too. It will be more instructional in nature.

You might have just stared to use this incredible operating system or you're curious about it. This group is designed to assist you from a point-and-click, drag-n-drop perspective.

Esoteric subjects like data center use, networking, telephony and computer programming will be avoided at all cost. Things that will be covered might include:
