Inventor Meetup Denver

The Inventor Meetup is a safe, free environment where inventors can come to learn about the inventing process. We have three meetings a month: Denver, Loveland and Colorado Springs. In each case, all meetings for a particular location (i.e., Denver, Loveland or Colorado Springs) will take place at the same restaurant in that location each month.

Our first Denver meeting will be held at Brooklyn's at Invesco (now Sports' Authority) Field. There is a large room upstairs which has more than ample space for the meetings and will be reserved solely for our use during the meeting. We will order off the menu.

Scheduled meeting time will be 5:30 p.m., but the actual meeting won't get under way until 6:00. BTW, Brooklyn's will be our permanent home for the Denver meetings and people can order off the menu if they chose to have something to eat (for which they'll have to pay their own way). Meeting at the same place and on the same day of each month gives us consistency so that members don't have to wonder where we are, and we are not at the mercy of someone offering space.

The strategy here is to chase away those who come to meet-ups for the "free food" and to encourage a safe, free and productive environment in which inventors can actually benefit.

It is our intention to keep these meetings free of service providers whose purpose in coming to the meeting is to prey on inventors. We want this to be a safe, free environment in which genuine benefits can be derived by all attending simply by hearing and sharing experiences and resources about inventing and taking a new product to market.

We are of the view that if we can create (with the help of others) a truly free, safe and productive environment for these meetups, in the long run everyone will benefit.
