This month’s meeting will be in the format of an “Inventors’ Roundtable Discussion.” This format invites members and guests to share information they’ve learned and also to ask questions about the product development process. The roundtable discussion will first focus on local inventor Gary Stewart’s Watchband Eyeglasses as covered by US7748843 (http://www.freepatentsonline.com/7748843.html). Mr. Stewart’s creation allows a person to have convenient access to a pair of flexible Pince-Nez style reading glasses stored within a watchband, attached to a watchband, or worn as a bracelet. The discussion about Gary’s invention will cover how the idea was first envisioned to details on how proof-of-concept prototypes were completed. Mr. Stewart is now considering using crowd funding (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crowdfunding) or other fund raising means to move his product to the production manufacturing stage.

Elections for INCA president, vice-president and treasurer will also take place during this meeting.

We hope to see you there,

Glen
