Details
Join our second meetup and find out how to smarten up your home in three talks:
Talk #1: Kai Kreuzer: openHAB - the past, the present and the future
Home Automation comprises much more than just lighting and HVAC. New IoT devices and services are hitting the market constantly. But how to easily integrate them with each other? The open source project openHAB addresses this problem: It connects to a multitude of different systems and comes with powerful automation rules and nice UIs. Its modular architecture guarantees simple extensibility. Over the past five years, it has evolved to one of the most popular open source solutions for the smart home. We will have a look back at where it all started, check the status quo and discuss what the future openHAB 2.0 means for users and contributors.
