What exactly is Agile? Why does it look different when applied in different places? When (and how) does it work, and when does it fail? How is it related to Scrum... and what IS Scrum, anyhow? This Lunch and Learn will feature a 20-minute lecturette with Nicole Forsythe (and perhaps a few surprise Agile-superstar guests!) We will then spend the rest of the time in interactive experience, exploring the power of iteration and timeboxing.

About the Speaker:
Nicole is the Chief Agility Officer of HowFactory, who she joined during the Iowa Startup Accelerator. An academic librarian by training, but a child of entrepreneurs, Nicole brings knowledge management, marketing, and Agile development expertise to the team. She is on the faculty at Kirkwood Community College as the Digital Services Librarian, and before that spent a decade in nonprofit management. Nicole holds a M.S. from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a B.A. from Colorado College. She earned her Certified Scrum Master and Certified Scrum Product Owner designations from Agile for All.
