The heading asks: "What is this Meetup's purpose?":  Well, my hope is that we get to meet other Iranian Americans, make friends with like-minded people, create and attend gatherings of all sorts and help enrich each other's lives.  

I have a VERY special place in my heart for my fellow Iranian Americans and I hope to be able to help that idea along.  It is no small task, but let's see how far we can take it.  You never know.
