European Parliament Elections -Irish & European Election Count Party

The Irish Votes for the local and By-elections will be counted on Saturday but the European Election boxes are opened on the SUNDAY. Under EU elections rules,no count can be announced in any country until all the voting is finished in every Member State.

An evening devoted to the results of the European elections.

Initial projections at European level will be made public at 22.00 h with partial results announced continuously until midnight.

It will be warm and unique opportunity to share your opinions with friends and lovers politics.

Place du Luxembourg will be THE place to be . Bars and cafes are open. You can live and on giant screens, follow what happens inside the European Parliament, against a backdrop of jazz music since the Brussels Jazz Marathon will be extended for one evening.

Lovers of good food will also have the pleasure of meeting the Irish chefs and French Clodagh McKenna and Pierre Lefebvre at the European Parliament ( former railway station ) and the Bureau Parlamentarium 20:30 to 21:30.

You will finally welcome ( e) Parlamentarium which held debates , panels and analyzes from 20:30 to midnight.
