Iron County Silent Sports

Please join in at Camp Mercer for our spring clean-up. The mild winter and logging project have left the trails in good shape, but sticks on the trail, cherry tree sprouts on the ballfield, and opening up some views along the river should keep us busy for 3 hours.

Please bring clippers, hand saws, and pole saws for the cutting. No power tools please. Work gloves, bug spray and water are also recommended. We will meet at the Camp Mercer Trailhead entrance at 9:00AM.

ICORE’s Hurley Non-Motorized Trail committee is dedicated to maintaining the trailhead in downtown Hurley and expanding the non-motorized trail in northern Iron County.
Volunteers are needed on June 3rd
Time - 5:00 pm
Location -The Iron Co. Farmers Market.
Task- Stain benches & picnic tables

Volunteers should bring water to drink, and gloves. Tools such as the following would be helpful: rakes, clippers, and/or hand saws.
