Let's build an iPhone app without writing a line of code!

NOTE: This meetup was rescheduled from 02/11 to 02/18 in case the roads are still bad from the icy weather.

Tuesday Feb 18th I am going to give you an introduction to Xcode and show you how you it's possible to use Xcode Storyboards to go from zero to App Store without writing a single line of code.

So... what's the catch? As you may have guessed, an app won't do very much without any instructions. Storyboards are a great way to get a prototype of your app in someone's hands as early as possible. Once our prototype is finished I will show you how Objective-C and the concepts you were introduced to in the last meetup can add some functionality to our app.

If you're new to iPhone app development or design this will be a great meetup to start with. If this isn't your first rodeo I'll toss in some Xcode tips and tricks you may not have seen before.

Please make note that we are meeting at a different location this time. We'll be using the meeting room at Aloft Las Colinas.

When this meetup was originally posted it filled up pretty quick! We have desks for 24-30 people but if you're on the waiting list there is probably still standing room available.

Let me know if you have any questions. I look forward to seeing you all!

I was just attending out of curiosity, but I will bow out this time for those on the waiting list with a higher interest level than myself. I can appease my curiosity at the next meet-up.

If you plan on attending go, some don't show or can't make it so there might still be room.. even if it's standing room it's should be fun.

James, I'll be making a cameo appearance tomorrow night. Some of my students may be attending your workshop as well. They'll be bringing their own computer.
